Science

We encourage children

to develop their science skills through a range of investigations. They are taught to plan experiments, to investigate different variables, to ensure accurate results and to interpret their data.

Children learn

to express themselves using appropriate scientific vocabulary and get lots of practice in how to use scientific equipment. Mathematical and ICT skills are put to good use in Science lessons.

Their scientific lessons

are taught in topics which are based around Chemistry, Physics and Biology. We learn about the human body, animals, plants, forces, materials, light, sound, the earth and electricity. Lots of lively experiments make our curriculum go with a bang!
